About
I am a board certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist in private practice in New York City. I enjoy helping people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, life transition difficulties, eating disorders, sexual and relational trauma, and creative blocks. I have written papers and given presentations on topics related to trauma, dissociation, ethics, and confidentiality. As a volunteer for Physicians for Human Rights, I provide psychological evaluations to asylum seekers.
I earned a B.A. in English literature from the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s in comparative literature from Indiana University, where I studied memory and autobiography. I obtained my medical degree from Keck School of Medicine at USC and completed psychiatry training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I obtained additional training in eating disorders, compulsions, and addictions from the William Alanson White Institute. I am currently a candidate at the NYU Postdoctural Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
